Concorde International was established in 1972 and organised its first Summer School at the University of Kent in July 1973. A group of French students attended this first course. Now we are welcoming over 3000 students a year from all parts of the world.

The policy of the school from the very beginning has been to uphold standards of excellence in every department thereby guaranteeing students success and happiness.

Today Concorde International enjoys a worldwide reputation. All our courses are recognised by the British Council and the organisation is a member of ARELS the professional association for schools who seek to maintain the same high standards in tuition, accommodation and welfare.

Over twenty nine years Concorde International has developed in different directions.

Concorde International takes over private schools in the South of England to run Junior Vacation Courses. London and other exciting cities are close to most of our centres, so the students visit many interesting places.

The Full time Teacher Training Department was started in 1988 and is a recognition of Concorde's commitment to teacher development. Successful trainee teachers are awarded the Cambridge Royal Society of Arts Certificate to Teach English as a Foreign Language.

In 1990 Concorde International Business School was born, situated within the company head office in Canterbury and enjoying an excellent location in the historic City Centre. The Business School has developed extremely successful Diploma programmes for University students, in addition to short intensive and specialised courses for Executives and Corporate Clients. Concorde International also offers Access Masters Courses to students who are wishing to obtain a Masters degree from a UK University.

The Language Development and Work Experience Course started in 1994. With this exciting programme, we have successfully placed over 900 students with a wide range of English companies.
