The School - 'one of
the best addresses in London!'
This area of London is one of the most popular with visitors to Britain
and students students particularly, with the added attraction of Camden
Lock market nearby.
Hampstead's residents include famous celebrities, film stars, artists and
writers - look carefully and you might see someone you know in the shops!
The school is situated in the centre of the village, in Vale Close a quiet
and secure environment.
The Royal School has a distinguished history and, as the name suggests, a
Royal connection. Today this is still maintained by HRH Princess Alexandra
who is Patron to the School.
The school is housed in a modern building with classrooms, the art studio,
the dining room and large main hall all located on lower floors.
Day students whose parents or relatives live in London will be able to
enrol for the English classes and cultural programme.

Accommodation
The upper floors accommodate residential students in comfortable, well
furnished rooms. Two, three or four students share according to their age
and nationality.
From the bedroom windows students look out over the centre of London and
can see in the distance the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, The London Eye
and city skyscrapers.
Students may choose to live in the School or stay with an English host
family.
Sports facilities
Sports for the students take place on the nearby Hampstead Heath. Also
nearby is an outdoor and indoor games.
Hampstead underground station is just a few minutes walk from the School,
providing easy access to all the sights: Buckingham Palace, Westminster
Abbey, Trafalgar Square, The British Museum, The National Gallery and the
West End.
Concorde International students will be accompanied by our staff to visit
the major sights and museums.

Extra visits to
Central London
Choosing the Royal School gives you the chance to visit the sights of
London more often.
As well as the usual full day excursion, you will enjoy three afternoon
visits to one of London's famous sites every week.
One of these visits will be followed by time for shopping in the West End
or Knightsbridge - and you won't have to rush home for your evening meal
that day, as we have arranged for you to eat in town ...
Older students have the opportunity to experience a wider social programme
at their own expense. Included here are visits to the cinema, the theatre,
bistros and local fashionable eating places.
