Homestay accommodation is recommended as the best way to experience the British way of life and culture and to practise your English.

The standard of homestay is very high. The families are kind and friendly and houses and flats are clean and warm. There is a maximum of 3 students per family and no one else will speak the same language as you unless specially requested - we want you to speak English as much as possible outside the school.

Your bedroom will have:

• A comfortable bed

• A wardrobe and a chest of drawers

• A mirror

• A table, chair and lamp for studying

The room will be cleaned at least once a week and you will have fresh bed linen and towels every week. You will be given a good breakfast every morning and an evening meal. You will also have lunch at the weekend.

Single room accommodation is £76 per week. If you want to share with a friend or member of your family, the cost is £72 per week for each person, if you arrive together. Please arrange to arrive on a Sunday and leave on a Saturday or Sunday.

We want you to feel at home and, if there are any problems, you will find the Accommodation Officer in Reception. She is always happy to talk to you or help you with any problem.
