London is only 90 minutes away and Gatwick airport and 55 minutes by direct train. Brighton, Hastings and Lewes are in easy reach for a day out.

Getting to Eastbourne

From London Heathrow (LHR)
by train:
The easiest way is to catch the Jetlink 747 bus to Gatwick and then a train to Eastbourne
by taxi:
We can arrange this for you and it costs £62 one-way and £100 both ways.
The taxi driver will meet you at the exit from customs and will hold up a board saying 'LTC International College' and another with your name on.


From London Gatwick (LGW)
by train:

From Monday to Saturday there is a train every half hour. On Sunday there is a train every hour. The journey takes about 1 hour 25 minutes and costs about £10 for a single ticket.
by taxi:
We can arrange this for you and it costs £45 one-way and £75 both ways.

Police registration
Students from certain countries in Asia, South America and Africa who are staying for six months or more have to register with the police. If you have to, it will say so in your passport. If you are not sure then see the College Secretary.

Visa
To extend your visa you need:

  • your passport and Green Book (if registered with the police).
  • a bank statement for the last 6 months.
  • a letter from LTC.

You should ask us to help you at least 1 month before your visa is due to expire. We will give you a form and help you complete it. You can then post it to the Home Office. The full address is:
